Happy Me - Happy Women
The Happy Me Community aim to create safe, supportive spaces where women can grow, heal, and thrive together, strengthening both themselves and the communities they belong to.
They believe in collaboration. They aim to bring people together by sharing facts from their communities, signposting current public services, and creating offers to bridge the gap between sectors.
Their work and volunteering in the community are grounded in the belief that every individual, at any stage of life and no matter the adversities they have faced, holds the capacity to create positive change for themselves, their community, and wider society.
The Happy Me Community is run by Donna, Tik and Lilly. Donna has been a serial volunteer for more than 30 years, with a wealth of experience and knowledge. Tik is a proud and happy mum of 3 children who loves photography.
Donna and Tik founded the Happy Me Community together, a grassroots group based in Bury, in February 2023. After nearly 2 years, Happy Me Community CIC was formed in August 2024 to enable them to further develop and offer their expertise beyond Greater Manchester. Lilly joined them as Director in November 2024 to continue building the Happy Me Community.
They have a range of offers and run Happy Me Happy Women here at Whitefield Methodist Church.
